Alonso not ready for me: Hamilton

McLaren rookie Lewis Hamilton has suggested that his teammate, Fernando Alonso was not prepared for the challenge the 22-year-old has so far provided
Hamilton speculated that the reason behind Alonso’s recent comments regarding inter-team favouritism was because the reigning champion was not expecting Hamilton to be so competitive.
“I doubt very much that he was expecting me to do as well as I have,” said Hamilton.
“I don't know whether that's why he would be saying what he's saying,” he said, “But definitely coming into the team, he's the two-time world champion and he's not really been challenged.”
After he won the Canadian Grand Prix last weekend, the media was whipped up into a Lewis Hamilton-frenzy.
Further speculation that the rookie had Alonso rattled was then fuelled by the Spaniard’s comments that he felt uncomfortable at McLaren, claiming the team favoured the young Briton.
But Hamilton shrugged off those claims, “I find it strange he said that because I feel that ever since he joined the team, the team have been extremely motivated to push us both toward winning,” he said.
“I think he has some challenges in the past but not really had probably someone as close as me and as good a friend off the track,” added the Canadian GP victor.
